Time-Outs and Invalid HTML Format Error Messages

The most common technical difficulty one will run into while using the Instanet Forms web service is time out error messages or invalid html format error messages. Below is an example error message that you may see.

If you are experiencing error messages often, the first thing you should do is make sure your Internet Explorer browser is configured properly and run the Preflight System Check. See "Configuring Internet Explorer" for more detail on how to configure your browser.

 

If Internet Explorer is configured properly and you’ve passed all the steps in the Preflight System Check, but are continuing to experience a lot of time out error messages and/or invalid html format errors, it is recommended that you update your Internet Explorer browser to Internet Explorer 6.0. You can download Internet Explorer 6.0 from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/ie6/default.asp
